How to get involved The best way to get involved is to become a member of the Friends! You can become a member for just $10.00 a year (or just $5.00 for Seniors).  Additional levels of membership are available as Family, Patron, or Lifetime membership. For membership information, print out a membership form or pick one up at the Library circulation desk, fill it out, and mail it along with your payment to the address on the form.  You may also drop off the membership application and dues payment at the Bellaire Library. As a Friend, you receive these benefits:

  • Invitations to special Library and Friends programs
  • Notice of upcoming book sales
  • A forum in which to advocate on behalf of the Library

As a Friend, you build a strong Library that

  • Helps children develop a love of reading
  • Provides individuals, organizations and businesses free access to vital information resources, and
  • Educates and broadens the horizons of all patrons.

We invite you to explore our web site and find out about the many opportunities and events that are available. Please consider membership in the Friends of the Bellaire Library as a means to support the use of our wonderful library and all its resources.

Because we are a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, your contributions are tax deductible to the full extent of IRS regulations.

Please drop off donations of books, DVDs, CDs, and videos at the Library.  We ask that books be in good, clean, readable condition (think "almost new"). We cannot accept magazines. Unless you have fewer than 8 books please put them in boxes before bringing them to the Library. Thanks!
